We are pleased to share highlights from IBEF’s participation in the Salvadoran Asphalt Congress, held from 24–26 September. The event brought together more than 300 paving-industry professionals, providing an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and networking.
At the congress, Everett Crew (Ingevity) delivered an insightful presentation entitled “Global Analysis of Emulsions and Their Applications in Pavements.” Following this, Rosita Martinez, IBEF Executive Committee member, was honoured to present on “Adaptability of Asphalt Emulsions to Various Paving Needs and Their Impact on Sustainability,” emphasising how emulsions can enhance performance across a wide range of projects while supporting environmentally responsible paving practices.
