Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) is a resilient and sustainable asphalt pavement rehabilitation technique that has been gaining in popularity in recent years. A better understanding of material science, engineered controls on construction equipment, and updated project selection criteria have led to reliable and repeatable results on Cold In-Place Recycling projects throughout the United States. Recently, the Colorado Department of Transportation utilized the CIR process to rehabilitate a 40-mile-long section of Colorado State Highway 149 (SH 149) in southern Colorado. The webinar will cover specifics of this project and educate attendees on the tools available to make their next CIR project a successful one.
