ATEB, was born in 2002 with a clear vocation of service and defense of the values brought historically by the use of the bitumen emulsion in the road construction. The strong technical character of the Association also gives our country a position as world technology leader in these techniques.
Among the objectives of the Association, it is:
- Defend the image and prestige of the bitumen emulsion manufacturing and application sector by promoting and improving the quality of bitumen emulsions in coordination with other public and private entities, mainly in the field of construction.
- Promote the use of bitumen emulsions, replacing or complementing other alternatives, convinced of their technical and economic relevance.
- Encourage research, study and exchange of knowledge to improve manufacturing processes and the implementation of bitumen emulsions.
