HAPA

The asphalt construction company and the pavement construction company were associate members of the European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) between 1974 and 1992. HAPA has been a regular member of the EAPA since 1992. The main governing body of HAPA is the meeting of the members. The supervisory board ensures the lawful operation. Director: Tibor Veress.

ACTIVITIES

To achieve the most important goals, the following activities are needed:

• Perform common tasks
• Regular discussions and meetings with Hungarian and European institutions;
• Work Teams: The Technology and Technical Work Team, the Bitumen and Additives Task Team, and the Environment and Health Protection Task Team are its operational teams.
• Encourage participation in research and development programs;
• Participation in the work of CEN, promotion of European standardization activities;
• Participation in the corresponding committees of EU HAPA activities.
• Performance Stability Assessment and Control of Construction Products, as a Designated and Registered Organization. Certification of supervision of factory production control of asphalt mixing sites
